Silvia Frey-Mangold
First Aid & Resuscitation Instructor | Pediatric Nursing Specialist
I hold a degree in pediatric nursing and have trained and worked at the University Children’s Hospital in Basel, as well as the University Hospital (CHUV) in Lausanne, Switzerland. Currently based in the Lausanne area and partly in Basel, I am dedicated to educating individuals and organizations in life-saving techniques.
As a certified instructor for the First Aid Course (SGS-certified), I provide mandatory training for those applying for a Swiss Driving License. Additionally, I specialize in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training, certified by the Swiss Resuscitation Council (SRC). My expertise includes teaching generic instructor courses, and I actively contribute as a member of the SRC.
I am also an instructor at Croix Rouge Vaudoise and the health school Sanpool, where I share my knowledge and passion for emergency care and resuscitation.
My mission is to empower individuals with the confidence and skills to take immediate action in life-threatening situations—because every second counts. I am certified in Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) by the American Heart Association (AHA).
I have the Certificate of the Swiss Federation for Adult Learning SVEB/FSEA.
I am very flexible and can teach any where in Switzerland in either English, French or German.
